Agitation about plagiarism is getting through to students. As Shaun Breslin, acting director of Newcastle University's East Asia centre, finished a distinctly lively paper on the future of China at this week's THES-sponsored conference on Hong Kong, an anxious voice asked: "That was great - but can we use it in our theses ?"
