In last month's feature on university access, "Reaching out but still falling short" (24 January), we reported that the University of East Anglia spent 13.5 per cent of its additional income from variable tuition fees on financial support for its students. The university in fact spent 22.2 per cent of this sum on bursaries and should therefore have appeared 43rd in the league table. The mistake was due to an error in the information supplied by the Office of Fair Access.
