The first university course in the country to tackle food-chain issues "from farm to fork" is open to applicants at Cranfield University. The food-chain systems MSc will start in October and follows years of food-based research at the institution. The degree will be available to full- and part-time students, and will look at the journey from the growth of food to the supermarket. The university is seeking applicants drawn from first-degree students looking to enter the food industry and early-stage professionals in the sector who hope to progress to management-level positions.
