(Photograph) - Students barricaded in Cairo's Al-Azhar University are demanding the resignation of Egypt's culture minister for approving republication of a novel that they say insults Islam. A committee formed by the minister found that reprinting Syrian writer Haider Haider's 1983 novel A Banquet for Seaweed could not be considered a violation of religion. The 2,000 students occupying the university also demanded the release of students arrested in violent clashes with police over the book. Photograph by AP
