Essex merges with East 15 drama school

East 15 Acting School in Loughton, Essex, has merged with Essex University, following agreement from the Higher Education Funding Council for England to provide 130 undergraduate places.

The university has recently developed its undergraduate drama provision. East 15, whose alumni include Alison Steadman (pictured), will keep its name and campus but will become a department within the School of Humanities and Comparative Studies.
