THE University of Ulster has asked to see the results of an investigation into an exams blunder that left almost 1,000 prospective students in limbo last August.
But the Northern Ireland Council for the Curriculum, Exams and Assessment has not yet decided whether to make the report public although it was finished three months ago. Both UU and Queen's believe it is important to see the report before this year's UCAS process gets into top gear. Human error caused the electronic mistake which led to students being told they had been rejected instead of accepted for a university place.
