Scotland's enterprise and lifelong learning minister, Wendy Alexander, has come under fire. Following her recent visit to scientific establishments in Finland, Tory MSP David Mundell questioned her commitment to research and development.
He said: "She told us she came across a remarkable innovation - a dress that had in-built telephones and which converted itself into a desk and keyboard. I (thought) the minister had given an assurance that she would wear such a dress to the chamber. To date she has not done so, but we live in expectation."
