Fees main barrier to access

A new analysis of application figures suggests that the main barrier to wider access is the government's policy on tuition fees, the Liberal Democrats claimed this week. The House of Commons research library has carried out a demographic analysis of the latest figures from the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service for applicants as a proportion of the population.
