Tackling social taboos associated with ageing
This three-year project will examine ageing and incontinence, focusing on treatments, assistive technologies and environmental barriers. It is substantially backed by the "dynamics of ageing" programme, a cross-council funding scheme. BIAS is leading the project, with research also carried out by teams at the Royal College of Art, the University of Manchester, the University of Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam University, Bristol Urological Institute, Southmead Hospital and the University of the West of England.
