Healthy rule change

Overseas students coming to Scotland are to win complete access to National Health Service care following changes in NHS rules this month. Their case was taken up by Brian Potter, Scottish secretary of the British Medical Association, who was concerned that many overseas students were effectively debarred from all but emergency treatment because they did not meet the one-year residency requirement for entitlement to full care.
