Susan Harte (Letters, THES, September 11) advocates on behalf of the Association of University Teachers a pay review body for university administrators and calls the Association of University Administrators "perverse" for not doing likewise. Is the AUT suggesting that this or any government will concede a pay review body for university administrators? If the answer is no, then the AUT is clearly misleading its members.
