An international seminar on multi-processor system-on-chip (SoC) applications will take place from 7 to 11 July in Chamonix, France.
The seminar will gather researchers and experts from academia and industry to discuss the fundamental and strategic issues involved in mastering SoC design. A number of introductory tutorials will take place on the basics of SoC design, as well as several lectures on the experience of senior experts in the field.
The event will also include an executive half day session, bringing together managers from key industries related to SoC, to discuss challenges and opportunities for future SoC applications and technologies.
The event is being organised within the framework of the Information Society Technologies (IST) project REASON (research and training action for system on chip design).
