The Joint Information Systems Committee has unveiled plans to invest an extra £80 million in education and research over the next two years. This includes the launch of a national e-learning advisory centre, help for institutions creating digital repositories, further digitisation of key academic resources and the move to the next-generation SuperJanet5 academic network.
