Inaccurate, or just refreshingly forward-looking? Calling Christ-opher Kenyon, chair of the new Single Quality Agency, "Sir Christopher", as did a questioner at the recent Goldsmiths College quality conference, is, we suspect, is almost as certain of fulfilment as the accidental renaming of Sir Ron as "Lord Dearing".
The still-Mr Kenyon appears to have a realistic grasp of the complications of the post, confessing at the same conference that: "On good days I think I'm on a learning curve, on bad days it's more like a precipice."
