Academics and students at the Central University of Venezuela were among the injured as students who want an end to a month-long occupation over university reforms clashed with radicals.
Students clash with police in Ethiopia
Police broke up a student meeting at Addis Ababa University, called on Monday to discuss a return to class. Students are refusing to go back until all 3,000 students detained by police after rioting in the Ethiopian capital are freed. Most were released at the end of last week.
