Learning through IT

A £6 million research project to use technology to improve learning was announced on Wednesday. The Teaching and Learning Research Programme, run by the Economic and Social Research Council, will spend the money on projects such as "intelligent" IT, which can personalise learning for individuals, and technology to support mobile learners.
