Leeds rethinks its fee remission policy

十一月 24, 2000

Leeds University has amended its policy on the remission of fees for members of staff undertaking part-time research degrees in the university.

From this academic year, fees will be remitted in full for part-time employees working 50 per cent of full-time and pro rata for staff working less than this.

Leeds does not offer remission of fees on taught postgraduate or undergraduate degrees, and it said that the main purpose of fee remission was to enhance the work-related skills of staff.
