Legal aid for Lesotho's tourism industry

LEGAL experts from the University of Abertay Dundee are helping Lesotho, one of the world's smallest countries, develop laws to govern investment in its fledgling tourist industry. Researchers from UAD's school of accountancy and law are conducting a three-month study on behalf of the United Nations-funded World Tourism Organisation. They will draft legislation to set up a tourism development corporation as Lesotho races to capitalise on the tourist boom sweeping across southern Africa following the end of apartheid.
