People with large numbers of moles may age more slowly than expected, according to a study from King's College London. Researchers studied the skin and markers of biological ageing in more than 1,800 twins in a ten-year study. Veronique Bataille, the lead researcher, said the results were exciting because they showed for the first time that people with many moles, who have a slightly increased risk of melanoma, may have the benefit of a reduced rate of ageing.
