Memorabilia collected by the co-founder of punk rock band the Clash has gone on display at a Norwich institution. The personal archive of Mick Jones includes guitars, stage clothes and posters, as well as the gold disc for the band's 1979 album London Calling. It forms the basis of a new exhibition at Norwich University College of the Arts. Principal John Last said: "An event like this distinguishes art education from other academic subjects. In this digital age, archives and documents are increasingly central to the study of contemporary art."
