NUS protest stops fee instalment charge

All universities and colleges considering charging students who pay fees in instalments have backtracked. The University of East London and University College Chester, the last institutions to consider charging, have both dropped the idea. The Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Principals had advised members not to charge after protests from the National Union of Students.
