Is the London Institute aware of the past of its press officer, the cheerful Michael Benson? Antithesis suspects he has kept well and truly under wraps his role in the rabbit stew which the University of East Anglia made for itself in 1989 by building student accommodation across a colony of rabbits which were also vital experimental animals for UEA biologists. He was press officer there at the time.

News reaches us that the famous incident has come back to haunt him, this time though closer to home. Apparently Bunny Benson has just moved house. The new abode has superb soil for growing vegetables and Benson has lost little time in taking advantage of it. But week after week his gardening has proved fruitless, or at least vegetable free: bunnies have chomped their way through his crop.
