This report by the COST Office is forwarded for information for the JAF Group meeting on 16 and 17 February 2005.
It could be observed that, under the new provisions for a rapid start of new Actions, all Actions approved at the CSO meeting in December 2004 have planned kick-off meetings before he end of March, most in January and February.
The attached table provides information on the start of the 19 new Actions approved. This is important evidence for the Mid-Term Review to demonstrate that COST has now substantially reduced the lead time in launching new Actions.
