(Photograph) - A depressed psychology lecturer at Westminster University murdered a young colleague because "she had been kind to him", Middlesex Guildhall Crown Court heard this week.
Loner Steven Reid, 33, lured Elizabeth Stacey (pictured) into a seldom-used research laboratory and then bludgeoned her across the head with a rolling pin, said Orlando Pownall, prosecuting.
Reid, of Gloucester Terrace, Marylebone, West London, denies murder, although the court heard that when interviewed by police he admitted killing her. The case continues.
