The 25th world congress of the international society for fat research will take place from 12 to 15 October in Bordeaux, France.
The theme for the congress is 'the research and development challenge: how to improve uses of oils and fats'. A number of plenary sessions will take place on the latest findings in the following areas:
- oil sources;
- genomics;
- processing and environment;
- lipid bioscience;
- human nutrition and health;
- animal nutrition;
- oleochemicals;
- biofuels and biolubricants;
- analytics;
- olive oil.
An exhibition will also take place, providing delegates will an opportunity to make new contacts in the field.
