Following her confirmation as the new general secretary of the University and College Union, Sally Hunt appears to have opted for totalitarian media management. She has requested that union officials speak to the media only through the press office. Ms Hunt will be UCU's sole spokesperson, and comment from other officials will be allowed only after it has been agreed by her.
