A university foundation aiming to publish the complete works of the French philosopher Voltaire has received an award from the Academie Francaise. The Voltaire Foundation at the University of Oxford has received the Prix Herve Deluen, a EUR25,000 (£20,746) prize and the Academie's only award for research outside France. The award recognises the foundation's 50-year project to order all of the writer's works and letters chronologically, with the 200th volume of Voltaire's work due to be published in 2018.
