Recycling initiatives are being revamped at the University of Sheffield with the installation of a machine that collects and processes used drinks containers for recycling. Each time a container is deposited in the "reverse vending machine", a token is produced providing 5 per cent of a hot drink elsewhere on campus. The machine is the first of its kind in Yorkshire.
