University of Teesside - Recession survival tips

四月 2, 2009

Sixteen steps to help the North East through the recession have been outlined by the University of Teesside. They include offering temporary university posts to skilled people facing redundancy, bringing forward £2.2 million worth of work on university buildings, and providing careers advice to graduates for up to two years after they finish. Graham Henderson, the vice-chancellor, will outline the plan at a number of events including the Times Higher Education conference "Employer Engagement: How far should universities go to meet the needs of employers?" in London on 13 May.
