The European Investment Bank plans to lend €35 million (£23.7 million) to help Austria's Danube University Krems complete a €70 million expansion, transforming the institution into an international campus university by 2006. The expanded site, about 40 miles from Vienna, is due to have seminar and teaching rooms, a research centre and a new library.
