九月 13, 2002

The Wellcome Trust has provided a research unit in Vietnam with infrastructure worth almost £1 million. The Infectious Diseases Research Unit will open in Ho Chi Minh City next week.

Over the past decade, scientists from the Oxford University Centre for Tropical Medicine have been working with the trust and the Vietnamese government on a range of diseases.

The new building, funded by the Vietnamese government, will house laboratories, a new library and a seminar room.
