Welsh up RAE support

Welsh higher education institutions are to be given an extra £3 million to boost their preparations for the next research assessment exercise.

The money will be allocated in February by the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales to institutions considered most likely to benefit from it in terms of their research performance.
