The London School of Economics will hold its first winter school to widen access to law for 40 students aged 16 to 17 from inner London this January.
The school is being run with the Sutton Trust and the College of Law and has the support of Cherie Booth QC and attorney general Lord Goldsmith.
Students will be taught by LSE law lecturers and work on legal studies cases. The most talented will be selected to attend a three-day summer school in July at the College of Law.
