Federal Rural University of Pernambuco

The Federal Rural University of Pernambuco is a public university in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil.

The university specialises in courses and research in the agricultural sciences and rural development, however it also offers courses in a range of subjects.

There are 18 academic departments including agronomy, statistics, history, fisheries and aquaculture and animal science among others. courses are available at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Students are also able to study courses remotely.

On campus there is a sports centre with a swimming pool, indoor court, football field field and athletics track. There is also student accommodation, health services and a veterinary hospital.
