Why is a three-year-old toddler better at recognising everyday objects than the world's most powerful supercomputer? The lectures began in 1825 and aim to present scientific issues to young people. Dr Bishop will give five lectures, which will be broadcast on Channel 5 as part of its Christmas schedule.
