I look forward to reading Devorah Baum’s book The Jewish Joke (“Painfully funny”, Features, 26 October) and hope that it contains not only jokes but some sharp repartee. Such as:
“You haven’t asked me how I am this morning.”
“How are you this morning?”
“Don’t ask!”
