Can Tho University

Established in 1966, Can Tho University is widely recognised as a premier university in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam. Its goal is to be one of the leading higher education institutions in Vietnam and to be recognised as one of the top universities in the Asia-Pacific region in training and research by 2022. As a leading multidisciplinary university located in the heart of the Mekong Delta, CTU enjoys a special niche among higher education institutions in Vietnam. Currently, CTU has 15 faculties, one department and three research institutions with about 2,000 staff members and more than 45,000 students, and offers 95 undergraduate, 37 master’s and 15 doctoral training programmes in various areas.
