关于 Communication University of China
The Communication University of China was one of the country's key universities of the "Double First-Class University Plan", administered by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.
This public university in Beijing was developed out of a training centre for technicians of the Central Broadcasting Bureau. In 2004 it was renamed the Communication University of China. The university is located in the eastern area of the city, near the ancient canal and today the campus occupies some 463,700 square metres of land in total.
The university is focused on developing students in multiple disciplines pertaining to communications. Since its early days, the university has helped cultivate some of the best-known talents in China's information and communication industry, including for both the radio and television sector.
Students are taught by over 2,000 staff including over 1,000 full-time lecturers, 344 professors and 566 associate professors.
Outside of study there are plenty of opportunities for students, including the annual CUC Campus Singer Competition, first held in the spring of 1984.
