关于 Western Caspian University

Western Caspian University is a private university located in Baku, Azerbaijan. It was established in 1991 and currently has approximately 1500 students.

The university is named after Western universities due to its adoption of their teaching style and values, and it conducts many of its classes in English.

The university is made up of six schools that offer a range of programmes. These schools include high technologies and innovative engineering, architecture and design, economics, business, philology and translation, and political and public sciences.

Western Caspian University has established connections with international institutions and offers exchange programmes with universities in different countries.

The university places a strong emphasis on research and is equipped with modern laboratories and research centres.

The university's library is one of the largest in Azerbaijan and collaborates with the UN. Additionally, the university hosts a museum dedicated to Thor Heyerdahl, the renowned explorer.

The Student Youth Organisation (SYO) represents the interests of students at the university, and the university also provides support to students in terms of career opportunities.

Notable alumni of Western Caspian University include Nargiz Gurbanova, who serves as an ambassador. The university also operates a high school and a training centre to assist students in preparing for university and future careers.
