We receive a significant number of applications from students who are expected to achieve reasonable results in their post-16 qualifications but have failed maths and/or English GCSEs.
These qualifications are a requirement for all our courses and are expected by most employers.
How sad then that when we speak to these applicants, many tell us they have not been advised by their schools or colleges to retake these GCSEs.
