Round One: Enlightenment thinkers have an inherently Utopian and apocalyptic mode of thinking. Round Two: Most Enlightenment thinkers have been piecemeal reformists and advocates of incrementalist change. Round Three: What "liberal progressives" fail to grasp is that beneath the surface of "the Enlightenment faith" lie post-millennial beliefs and a redemptive view of history. The tempo is heating up, and I cannot be the only reader looking forward to Rounds Four and Five.
