MIDDLESEX UNIVERSITY David Kirby, professor of entrepreneurship and director of the centre for entrepreneurship at Durham University, has been appointed pro-vice chancellor and dean of the university's business school and head of the Hendon campus.

NCET/FEDA Jenny Scribbins, principal of South Thames College, has been appointed chair of the National Council for Education Technology and Further Education Development Agency's joint advisory committee.
