Academy of Medicine recommendation

AN ACADEMY of Medicine to speak for the whole of the medical community has been okayed by a working group set up a year ago to consider the issue. The group, chaired by Sir Michael Atiyah, former president of the Royal Society, has reported to the Medical Education and Research Co-ordinating Committee, which has accepted its recommendations.
