The Arts and Humanities Research Board has joined the research councils' Business Plan Competition, giving prospective start-ups in the creative industries the chance to win £25,000 towards marketing and financial planning for their ideas.
The competition, run jointly by the Department for Trade and Industry, the Gatsby Charitable Foundation and four of the research councils, also gives entrants the opportunity to take part in a two-day commercialisation workshop alongside researchers from other research council disciplines.
