Advertisements will go out in the next few days for administrators of the Arts and Humanities Research Board. The council holds its first meeting today.
Its London base at the British Academy headquarters will focus on postgraduate studentships, while its Bristol base at the offices of Higher Education Funding Council for England will concentrate on research.
British Academy employees who worked for the Humanities Research Board will all keep their jobs. The full list of board members and convenors of the assessment panels will be announced after today's meeting.
