Two Azerbaijani students who claimed they were expelled from their universities on political grounds have been reinstated after a three-week hunger strike. The students, Turan Aliyev of the Pedagogic State University and Namiq Feyziyev of Baku State University, are both active in opposition politics. The authorities maintain that they were expelled for absenteeism.
