The latest development in the new Quality Assurance Agency's search for a headquarters may say something about its policy leanings. Determined not to venture far from his Gloucestershire home, QAA chief executive John Randall is now believed to be eyeing up a former Bank of England building in Gloucester. A little worrying, perhaps, for any institutions fretting over the prospect of a direct link between quality judgements and funding.
