Law departments are experiencing something of a boom if this week's job advertisements in The Times Higher are anything to go by.
Five universities are advertising a range of law posts and the Bar Council is looking for a head of educational standards of "legal academic standing".
Leeds Metropolitan University is looking to expand its School of Law and is advertising for a principal lecturer, a reader and seven lecturers or senior lecturers.
The University of the West of England is looking for a lecturer or senior lecturer and a lecturer with research interests in company law, tort, property or any area of European or international law.
Sussex and Warwick universities are each looking to appoint a chair in law while Dundee University is offering a lectureship in law.
