A US university has clinched a deal with an oil company to undertake research into biofuels. Texas A&M BioEnergy Alliance, part of Texas A&M University, has an agreement with Chevron Technology Ventures, part of the oil firm Chevron. The university will research how to optimise crops that produce biofuels as well as harvest, process and transport them.
