The Roslin Institute will see its sponsorship from the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council rise by 9 per cent on average over the next two years.
The BBSRC's review of the facilities and quality of research in its nine sponsored research centres announces a rise of an average 4 per cent in 2004.
